This video is from an event I filmed for the North East Heritage Skills Initiative.  In July 2008, they held a Heritage Skills Fair, at Gibside Estate.  Over three days, members of the public were able to watch, and take part in, traditional craft and skill demonstrations.

This particular clip is of a horse logging team.  They work regularly in the region, especially in situations which are not accessible or practical for machinery and vehicles.
